EmoteLab — Is It Worth Playing in 2026?

This is an amazing tool with lots of customization if you have a human character. I refunded it because furry characters don't really work that well. I tried doing a custom texture but doing face patterns broke some emotes. I may consider it a later date if I can add face patterns. More options for furries would also be cool like cheek fluff, animal noses and more ear options. Again an amazing tool if your character is human but if you're furry then there are some issues.

Really easy to use and pretty versatile in terms of what you can do with it even its current state. It just needs a static .png export and ability for custom animations via workshop (which is coming soon) and it's perfect. For the price it's honestly a no brainer. Best of all -- no AI usage!

For the price point I don't think anyone can complain. This is a really well made product. Good customizability and a lot more animated options that I was expecting. I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely recommending this to everyone I know, it's great! The animations are adorable, texture editing is a little hard but nothing I couldn't figure out. 10/10

Very worth it for the price and quality of art + animation. UI could still be improved for ease of use and clarity. Example: users can click on parts of the avatar and be automatically guided to the component slider, instead of having to click through the long list of hair parts labels to figure out which hair part it's refering to.
