I booted up Palworld expecting a Pokemon game, what I got was a fox holding an assault rifle.
I play this game to imprison people, and put them in area far away in cages. Every so often I let them out and kill one for fun. I love Palworld
Late to the hype because i totally forgot about this game and the impact it caused about 2 years ago, but for real.. coming from someone that played Pokemon since 1998 and played all the games.. the ROM Hacks, the Hardcore ROM Hacks.. Smogon and VGC.. just WOW! WOW!.. first time and first playthrough and i played for a straight 10 hours without a break!!! 10/10
Satisfied my craving for a world building, beast collecting, sweat shop running experience. If you like pokemon and survival/building games then you found gold.
My friends and I are trying Palworld again after two years. I'm disappointed at the progress that's been made in that time. Sure, there are a lot more things to see, but pals still get stuck trying to get to food in the base and the building system is still very awkward and broken. These are problems that I remember the game having when it was first released. Shrug.
