PC (Steam) Shooter $8.99 Very Positive 2,463 reviews

Why Angels Fall First Is Trending Right Now

Angels Fall First maintains 118 concurrent peak players and 82% positive reviews (2,463 votes) a decade after launch—proof that quality indie shooters build lasting communities. While trending flat (+0% weekly), the consistent playerbase and strong review consensus signal a hidden gem being rediscovered by players seeking offline-playable tactics without battle passes.

It's a rare indie shooter that combines command-layer capital ship combat with ground-level infantry tactics—think Battlefront 2 OG meets tactical simulation. The target audience: players who miss the class-based, squad-driven shooters of the 360 era and want offline bot support without battle passes or pay-to-win.

Players love the offline bot support, strategic depth (ship commanding + ground combat), and Battlefront 2 nostalgia. Main criticism: the 118-player peak shows it's a niche game—you'll be playing mostly against AI, not humans.

finding this game in my library is like dumpster diving and finding an OG Bitcoin from '11 eye divine + battlefront buildcraft literally everything (guns, grenades, ships, vics, yourself) Gamepad support preem nova you're missing out not playing this game

This game itches that BF2 itch; getting in a dropship, leaving your ship-base, and boarding the enemy. Space warfare. Class system. Customization. Hero units. Its cool, and a decent price.

Only a few hours into this game, it gives xbox 360 era vibes and i absolutely love it, saw the video "10 years of boarding" or whatever it was it go me hooked

The FPS I never knew I needed, its nothing amazing but its pretty good for what it is. Bots arent horrible, its like playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 (OG) again but better

👎 Not Recommended 1h played

I get a stutter every 30 seconds in solo (max bots). It is quite annoying as my base frames are very high. I am playing on latest patch using Dx11. Changing settings doesn't help. I am putting dislike for now for attention.
