Players rave about the emotional depth, genuinely useful therapy mechanics, character variety, and sharp writing—some even use it to learn actual psychology. The trade-off: it's niche and introspective, which will bore action-focused gamers but hook anyone who values character-driven narratives.

I absolutely loved this game. As an aspiring therapist, I recognized a lot of the things that I had learned in class, though simplified. I definitely got a but emotional and I found myself rooting for the clients' progress.

very, very fun and insightful game. i love the format of each session and the character design really leans into all the sub-categories of vampirism (alt, goth, victorian, cowboy, etc.)

Funny and emotionally heavy and gives you a lot to think about and use in your own life. Immensely enjoyed my 10 hour run. Recommended.

Is this game giving me anxiety as a therapist when I don't get the right answer? A little. Am I totally hooked? Oh yeah!!! I work with teens and some of them are absolutely getting introduced to this next session :D

it has very interesting story telling and jokes that are very likely to crack you up

I feel bad giving a negative review. But I found that when I lost some save progress on a game (and maybe it wasn't even the game's fault -- I might have just forgot to save or something), I just no longer had the enthusiasm to keep going. I didn't *dislike* my time here, but I guess I didn't like it enough to be glad I spent that time and money.
