Both horror and story elements are good but can be very hard to understand if you aren't collecting notes around the map. Combat is easy to learn and most puzzles are simple. As much as I like that the story evolves/continues in some way in NG+ it can be kind of annoying having to redo the whole game 3 times to get the true ending. I would pick this up if it's on sale though ^^
A fresh take on the series with a haunting 1960s Japan setting and unforgettable atmosphere. The story hits hard and stays in your head even after the credits roll. If you like psychological horror, this is absolutely worth it 9/10
needs 4 full playthroughs for the true ending. I recommend you to play once then watch an Explained Video. Insane story insane storytellig unbelievable overall arching story ok action peak sound design good visuals. Dont miss this rare storytelling and story masterpiece
I just can't get into it. I feel like they just made a horror game and slapped the silent hill name on it. The combat is clunky and gets to the point where it's very annoying. I tried finishing it, but I just can't. Luckily I got this at a discount with Silent Hill 2 remake. If you want this game, definitely watch someone play it on YouTube or wait for a deep discount, in my opinion.
