Just about what you would expect from a resident evil game, it checks all the boxes and it's great. I was locked in from the start to the end. The game could've been a little longer, I explored pretty much every nook and cranny, only didn't bother going back to places that were far away from the village, at least it doesn't get repetitive I guess.
Ethan has became my second favorite father in my gaming history. The game is well optimized, bosses have different personalities, rosemary is pretty. What can I say? For the sake of your daughter, you open the hellgate, burning every evil inside and never return, such plot, in a horror game, its just pure GOTY without argument.
It might not be the scariest game of all time. But it truly is a masterpiece for all the horror game lovers out there
Wow! One of the best games I've ever played! The gameplay, graphics, story all 10/10. The way it ties in with the last one (Resident Evil 7) is amazing and so well done. Absolute masterpiece! I haven't enjoyed a game so much in a long time! If you're a resident evil fan and you haven't played this yet, get it, you'll love it!
Amazing game and brilliant conclussion to Ethan's story. On my 2nd playthrough now so still plenty of things to unlock but this is one of these games that will get 100%
Overly on-rails and gimmicky. It feels like every corridor has something scripted to jump out at you and pull you into another cutscene. The game is scared to leave you to your own devices for any length of time. Yellow paint everywhere and prompts holding your hand, Ethan constantly talks to himself to explain what you should be feeling and where to go. Cringy quips and cursing all the time. All writing is completely functional and artless. The game is very pretty
