Not one of my favourite RE games but its awesome co-op/solo game. I played solo as Chris and Shewa is great teammate (she helped me a lot and she is lovely player). It will be so cool if Capcom make this game as REMAKE because the story is really good and interesting.
This game is a classic that has stayed with me from Childhood to Unchood. Great game to play with friends/family.
RE5 is... a lot of things but it's not a bad game. True, the controls are janky, some bugs in higher FPS and a bad inventory system. Despite all the rigidness, there's fun to be had because it's an entertaining game. Over the top action sequences, fun QTEs and bonkers boss fights make the game worth playing. Give it a chance, it will grow on you over time.
I'll start of this review saying that I did play it solo so that already diminished my experience quite a bit. The things I have to give to this game are it is really one of the Resident Evil games of all time and the ost is really enjoyable, having said that, I don't like Chris and his fat ass neck and I found it very hard to like anyone besides Wesker. I'll miss my him dearly and his regular sized neck.
I really liked the co-op they added to the game. I didn’t even know it had co-op until my mates mentioned it to me. The story was a great addition to the series, and one thing I really enjoyed was how direct the gameplay feels simple but very fun. It was also great to see familiar characters return, including the villains. Overall, it’s a great game, and I can’t wait to play RE6.
Capcom didn't learn their lesson after the Revelations scandal. Instead of not adding DRM to older games at all, they started doing it quietly. I see no reason why a 16 year old game should have malicious DRM that also affects performance. Definitely not recommend. Buy only in green store
