That is not the case, and the rest of the game is basically a regular visual novel with the occasional "were you paying attention?" style multiple choice questions. Good visuals though. I'll give it a 7/10.
Masterwork in mystery writing that leverages the affordances of video games as a medium to do delightful things until the very end. A must play.
At first, I was like "Huh? SquareEnix made a VN?", but then I gave it a try and realized that it's peak. Highly recommended for anybody who likes mystery VNs like the Infinity series, AI: Somnium Files, Ace Attorney, etc.
Good Games, I like it. The mystery is very interesting, and the story was very good. 8/10 game for me
