Magical Girl Witch Trials — Is It Worth Playing in 2026?

this is not only the best visual novel I have ever read, but possibly the best story based experience I've had. I read it in Japanese but when the English comes out, please give it a chance.

Consistently interesting throughout and at times hard to put down, which is way more than I can say for most visual novels. Imagine Danganronpa, except missing the wacky humor and instead having the aesthetic and serious, somber tone of Madoka Magica, and you're pretty close to what this story is like. If that sounds appealing to you, you're sure to enjoy this.

If you enjoy the 'death game' genre, you'll probably enjoy this game. The writing can be rough at times. In a great deal of cases the characters seemingly act solely so that the authors can pull off their ideas... but they [i]do[/i] have some interesting ideas. It's not a masterpiece, but it is the kind of game you'd [i]really[/i] want to see people reacting too.
