The game that made me fall in love with roguelikes, fall in love with Supergiant Games and fall in love AGAIN with Greek mythology.
Very much loved this game. It has wonderful dialogue, great gameplay and combat, and the build-crafting? Stupendous, even. It's a staple roguelike and I wouldn't have spent 76 hours playing it if it wasn't good. The endgame is basically the beginning of the game, it's fantastic, couldn't recommend it enough.
Amazing game with cool gameplay and banging art style & voiceover. Not too difficult for a beginner like me (this is my first roguelite game!) - was able to go quite far after a few rounds - defo worth playing!! The rich variety of weapons and boons made sure we're never bored with helping Zagreus break out of the underworld. Lets gooo Zagreus!! (p.s. also really like how we can interact and build bonds with different npcs, looking forward to digging deeper into their backstories!!)
Hades nails everything: gameplay, art, music, and story. Even dying feels fun because you’re always progressing. Easy recommendation.
for someone who sucks at video games, this game doesn't make you feel awful when you die. on top of the amazing story, voice acting, music, and graphics, this game is just. amazing. perfect for greek mythology nerds (like me :3)
Boring, overrated and ass, just play binding of isaac.
