Best "classic X-Com like" i have played in a long time. Very addictive, one more turn, one more event and suddenly it is 02 AM. Art style is serious and to my liking. Played most of the game on Steam Deck handheld with touch pads or connected to the TV with dock (1440P) with mouse and keyboard. Works well at home and on the go on the Steam Deck.
About as demanding as the original XCom games. If you liked those, you'll feel at home here. The only thing I miss is the free movement until combat starts from XCom Apocalypse. But apart from that it's a pleasing battle of escalating technology and something I can dip into when I have some free time.
If you love xcom ufo defense, you will love xenonauts 2, it's pretty much remake of old xcom, on top of that modding is coming soon to the game!
The same old good Xenonauts 1 with gameplay improvements and in 3d. The game has huge memory leak issue. It is fine for Early Access, but I will rate the game negative if the game is released with unfixed memory leak.
There are some wierd balance issues in this games. You best chance of succes is to go in like Team American and destroy everything that still stands.
