EVE Online + Stellaris + No Mans Sky. I find all DLC to be good value and would purchase more. I would purchase X5. This is the most i've ever played a game before it felt "solved" and done. 218 hrs as of writing.
I didn't really get the appeal until about 50 hours in. At that point it clicked.... this game is more than just you. It's about creating an empire. From you all alone in your little starter ship, to taking over the galaxy. This game will eat up your time and your life... if you let it.
its an amazingly deep space sandbox. Recent update made the aspect I didnt like (how AI react to orders and fight) change from robotic and unintuitive to immersive and satisfying. AI reacts to your orders more organically and doesnt feel as lobotomized now. The game has gotten great support over the years and the devs seem to love their project.
9.0 public beta is amazing. The best space game available. Star citizen and elite dangerous wishes they were x4.
I'm sure there is a great game here...If you want to spend hours watching video tutorials and reading guides. The learning curve is higher than elite dangerous, eve online, star citizen, and just about anything else I've encountered. Sadly after 10 hours and making snails progress the juice just ain't worth the squeeze.
