What the Community Is Saying
Players love the Lovecraftian atmosphere, dark vibes, and clever city-builder twist on the genre. Main complaint: excessive micromanagement and forced rapid progression during early chapters frustrate pacing preferences.
Lovecraftian Anno. Seems like they have some fun ideas, but it would've been nice to focus on one island for a while longer before being forced to build a whole new one to satisfy the tutorial. Only recommending for people who enjoy the format of Anno/Frostpunk. Atmosphere was really good too.
7/10 Decent city builder, Anno-lite style with Cthulhu flavour. The flavour is implemented well and the basic city building aspect is fine. A bit too much micro-management for my personal preference.
Check it out. I played this game. I thought it was pretty great actually. Dark. A bit mysterious. Unsettling in some areas. Choices. The mission objecives were actually not to bad, I enjoyed them. I played into the first chapter; I will keep playing beyond. https://youtu.be/X56PGVpV7v4
A really clever take on the city builder, heavy on vibes and Lovecraftian theming. Definitely enjoyed my time with it!
There was promise to this game but the developers have clearly given up on adding anything to it. There are much better games of this genre to consider. I would play Against the Storm before this.
