Why Wizzerd Quest 2 Is Trending Right Now
Wizzerd Quest 2 just shipped 8 days ago to a devoted but niche audience. With a 73% positive review score from 48 players and a peak of 7 concurrent players, it's not a mainstream hit—but it's exactly what its fanbase was waiting for. The original Wizzerd Quest holds legendary status in retro PC circles, and early players are celebrating this sequel's hand-crafted feel.
This is a love letter to early 2000s PC exploration: retro graphics, unhinged FMV cutscenes, and a sprawling open world. Co-op splitscreen support makes it a rare gem for couch gaming. The target player isn't chasing Twitch trends—they're hunting nostalgia and willing to explore every corner for the charm.

What the Community Is Saying
Players love the movement mechanics, boss encounters, and the world's hand-crafted charm—calling it a spiritual successor done right. Main knock: parkour can feel janky and create frustrating difficulty spikes, especially in precision-heavy sections.
I might refund this so i can come back and buy it at full price (6/20/26 [30 mins after release]) I love the movement, though the parkour is real jank and some parts are made difficult by it. Love the combat, like the quests, bosses are fun! (6/20/26 [2 hours 18 minutes after release]) -man
Incredible. Game of the year for 2026, just like the first one was game of the year for whatever year it came out. I hope they make a third, it would surely be game of the year for whatever year it comes out as well.
I don't think video games as a medium ever had to advance much beyond what this game offers. This is a simple delight that feels HAND CRAFTED and ARTISINAL in all the ways you want it to. I feel like a young pup all over again, pirating any random PC game I could get my hands on just to explore a new land.
This is a very charming game, and I'm really glad I played it. It's just a chill time with some funny characters and bosses. Definitely recommend.
Game might be a bit shallow but it's so much fun to explore the world!!! A++
when playing coop, player 2 is surrounded by blindin light. nothig we can do to change that. if we can get help fixing it, i will update my review
