People compare this to Timberborn. I guess its similar, except this is better. So much depth and repeatability. The aesthetics and soundtrack are cute and loveable, one of the only games I have bought the soundtrack as an extra. There are different scenarios with lots of customisability so every game is different.
It takes a little time to figure things out, but once you do, the game is pretty darn fun.
This game strikes a really nice balance between demand and freedom. You can optimize and make your colony look cute, and I love how soft all the visuals and sound effects are. I cannot wait to see what's in store down the line c:
I had this wish listed at some point and my friend already had 333 days in it. After watching, I got it for me and my partner and have been obsessed. It scratches that City Skylines/ Sim City itch with Factorio and just general management that I enjoyed in Against The Storm. Also, hilarious. Highly recommend to give it a try. Also, some of these "it takes too long", blah blah blah are crazy. It is a slow paced game for building up. There are time controls anyways.
Absolutely love this little game. If you enjoy resource management style games with settlement building you will love it! I can not wait to see what comes in the future for this early access game, very excited for the ships and navy to fight back against the pirates and the claw oppressors!
