This is a funny game. Theres a thing you can do where you can spar with npcs, but first you have to raise their affinity to a certain level by giving them items. When you beat them in a spar, you get a few items as a reward from their inventory, including the items you just gave them, lol. Some of these npcs include children, old fragile men, lonely widows, shop owners, nobles. And you can keep beating them up for everything in their inventory.

Never in my life did I expect this indie that I tried on a whim for its Octopath copy graphics to be one of the greatest JRPGs ever made and enter my personal top 10

A great RPG with wuxia settings. As a fan of wuxia since I was a kid, this game really delivers a completely enjoyable experience. The strongest aspect is the story. It is very much like I am watching or reading a wuxia tv series/novel. All the main quest, side quests and companion quests are very interesting and worth to do. The combat is also enjoyable and mostly grinding, even though I find myself using the Auto feature a lot.

This game caught me by surprise. I picked it up for cheap and had no idea that I was in for such a ride. The story, character progression, combat was so good. I wish there was more to play. I really enjoyed all my time with this game
