Big fan of the original , still have the CDs somewhere in the house hahah, TQ2 good game so far, just completed act 3, about 25 hours single playthrough, only down side I see is no 1H caster weapons, ended up using level 9 dagger with cast speed double roll on it, all the way to 40 :(
Solid ARPG. Good content and mechanics already. Performance can be a little rough sometimes but has gotten better with updates.
Game is great, it is great succesor to an original game. Developers did their best to bring out best out of Greece geography. In regard to mythology, there is a lot to be desired, but, it is a game, so..... Better than Path of Exile that is for sure.
Class synergies are still lacking and item drops are really bad and not build defining. Everything else is pretty good and signals that a really great game is in the works ( if they fix some minor issues and improve itemization). Q1 2026 rating would be 7 out of 10.
I've never wanted to like a game so much. After 150+ hours and starting the new zone today, I have to admit to myself that I just don't like it. For as much as I've played Grim Dawn, 4400 hours I think, I've at least played Titan Quest 1 double that amount over the years. This is simply TQ2 in name only. I don't want to be too harsh, so will just say that it isn't for me. I wish the team developing it luck and success, just the same.
I honestly can’t recommend the game. It looks great, it sounds great, everything is polished… but it’s missing something that keeps me engaged. It feels way too smooth, too safe. It just doesn’t have that spark, the kind of depth and excitement that Diablo or Path of Exile deliver so well. It runs fine, but it never really grabs me.
