The Other Side — Is It Worth Playing in 2026?

205 players at 24-hour peak
PC (Steam) Shooter $9.79 Very Positive 531 reviews

Why The Other Side Is Trending Right Now

The Other Side maintains a strong 91% positive rating across 531 reviews—a solid endorsement for a niche horror title. With 205 peak players over 24 hours and a flat +0% weekly trend, it's holding steady rather than exploding, but that stability suggests a dedicated core audience. For a $9.79 co-op ghost-hunting game from an indie dev, these numbers show sustained interest.

The Other Side is drawing comparisons to Phasmophobia, but with a heavier focus on investigation depth—evidence gathering requires identifying both *what* you found and *how strong* it is. The target audience is co-op horror fans who want more mechanical complexity than jump scares alone. Community feedback highlights active dev support and regular updates, which matters for early access survival.

While it is still clearly early access, they are doing a lot of things right! Even the basic hunt is a lot of fun, but the cleansing is a real workout since you need to not only identify evidence, but how strong the evidence is. Looking forward to following this one!

Enjoying the game so far. Devs are friendly and quick to respond to the community to help resolve issues. Game looks great, runs well on my rig outside a few odd frame drops, and i have yet to experience any crashes or major issues. It receives regular updates and has some serious potential. Looking forward to where this game goes!
