This is incredibly well designed and is in many ways better than some of the $100 online courses floating around the internet, in my opinion. Now I am not saying that you should not learn formal data structures and algorithm but this a cheap way to learn by experimenting in your personal sandbox virtual farm.
It's a really fun little problem solving game. You don’t need much if any Python knowledge to get into it, as long as you enjoy thinking through solutions. It’s super easy to lose track of time while tweaking and improving your code. What feels like a quick session can easily turn into a full day before you notice.
Holy crap I wish I had a game like this when I was first learning to program as a kid. This is so much fun fr.
