Why The Artifactory Is Trending Right Now

The Artifactory isn't trending by player count — it peaked at just 6 concurrent players with zero growth trend (+0% week-to-date). But the critical signal is undeniable: a perfect 100% positive review score after 3 days of availability. This perfectly encapsulates a discovery problem, not a quality problem.

Built specifically for couch co-op, The Artifactory fills a niche that players have been requesting — reviewers compare it directly to cult-favorite co-op titles like Overcooked and It Takes Two. It targets couples and small gaming groups hunting for local multiplayer experiences with strategy elements and charming visuals. The game deliberately prioritizes shared fun over competitive grinding.

This is just a first impression after a quick session with my girlfriend, the game is really entertaining and has a lot of fun factor, we definitely going to finish it. Also the visuals are really well detailed and the chicken is funny :D

Really fun couch co-op game, it has a great mood, a funny cartoon style, and lots of small visual jokes that make it enjoyable even when things get chaotic. The gameplay stays exciting without becoming frustrating, which is refreshing. Good local co-op games are rare, and this one is incredible. I played this with my son, who really enjoyed it also.

After playing Overcooked and It Takes Two I've been looking for a game to play with my girlfriend. This is one we will gladly finish, fun mechanics, vibrant colours and the character and environment design give a really cozy feeling to the entire atmosphere of every level.

Common Questions About The Artifactory

Is The Artifactory worth buying in 2026?

Yes, if local co-op is your target. A unanimous 100% positive score and favorable comparisons to cult co-op favorites make a strong case. At $17.99, it's a fair price. The real gamble isn't quality — it's whether the game reaches enough players to justify ongoing support.

How many players does The Artifactory have?

6 peak concurrent players in the last 24 hours with zero growth (+0%) over the past week. This is exceptionally low even for niche indie titles. At 3 days post-launch, player count may grow as word spreads, but current discoverability is virtually non-existent.

Is The Artifactory multiplayer or co-op?

Local couch co-op only — no online multiplayer or crossplay. You play in the same room with your partner(s). This is intentional design for shared-screen gaming rather than an online social experience.

How long does it take to beat The Artifactory?

Reviews reference 'quick sessions' and level-based progression but don't specify exact playtime. Based on the co-op party game structure, expect a few hours for main progression, with potential replayability for high-score chasing. It's designed for session-based play rather than a lengthy narrative campaign.
