A wonderful game where you are a shop keeper of whatever you feel like selling. Only fruits and jams? Sure. Weapons and potions? Go for it? You want to line your walls with nothing but stone? Hell yeah. I have approximately 20,000 bottles of milk to sell please help
Imagine playing World of Warcraft, but being a shopkeeper! There is no rush for anything, all the mobs are friendly, and everyone is happy! You get to stock your store with what YOU want and the game rewards you for being kind. I love this game, it's my new hyperfixation!
Went into this a little skeptical because as much as I enjoy shopkeeper simulators - Something about this game gave me pause. I've been playing for like an hour or so and as 6 geese walk into my shop to buy... swords. I realize I'm playing the unity asset store fever dream version of Recettear. And I'm here for it. You got me dev.
I like how peaceful the game is. there is no combat (that I have seen) and no fall damage. the only "timed" part is when you open the shop part for the day and the customers come in to buy stuff. otherwise, before and after the shop is open, you can take as long as you want to go tend animals and gather stuff or just wander around.
