Tales of Berseria Remastered — Is It Worth Playing in 2026?

It's just Tales of Berseria with a very small handful of novelty addons, nothing game changing. Would've preferred a release that included something along the lines of cut content, better dungeons, and notably better graphics so I can't say this wasn't a little disappointing. It's still a good buy if you haven't played the original, probably not worth it otherwise unless you just really enjoyed the game.

It's good so far, keyboard controls are a little iffy imo but it's whatever since I can just play on controller. It's also my first Tales game so I don't know what to expect because I haven't played the original. Velvet is really cool aswell

good game, should be a couple dollars cheaper that's all. anyone that complains about it don't know the difference between remaster and remake and you don't need more than 60fps for a story game even though that is a downside i can admit but that's the only issue i personally see and it is an unproblematic issue as well, i'm writing this review after my first session of the game which is 4 hours in one sitting as it was a very enjoyable experience.

Good remaster, the FPS cap is somewhat annoying but the QoL and all DLCs being included makes it worth buying. It's also cheaper than the original 2016 release so definitely purchase this remaster if you haven't played the original.

I bought this expecting a real remaster on PC. Instead, it appears locked to 60 FPS with minimal technical upgrades. Feels more like a re-release with small QoL changes than a true remaster. I was excited, but Bandai Namco really disappointed here.
