Why Table Battle Simulator Is Trending

Table Battle Simulator launched on February 16, 2026 tapping into two massive gaming trends simultaneously: the love of unboxing and collecting rare items (popularised by games like Supermarket Simulator and Tcg Card Shop Simulator), and the enduring appeal of strategic tabletop battles. Developer Kiki Games has combined these into a single, coherent experience that appeals to both cozy sim fans and strategy enthusiasts.

The game's core loop — opening mystery boxes to discover rare miniature warriors, then using them in actual strategic battles — mirrors the real-world joy of trading card game culture and miniature wargaming. It's the kind of concept that's obvious in retrospect but hadn't been executed well in a video game format before, which has helped it stand out in its launch week and earned it a spot in GameGrin's Hidden Gems picks.

What Is Table Battle Simulator?

Table Battle Simulator is a genre mashup that combines the addictive loop of mystery box unboxing with shopkeeping management and strategic tabletop combat. You play as an aspiring collector who opens surprise boxes to discover rare miniature warriors — each with unique stats and abilities — then uses them to set up battle arenas and compete against opponents.

The shopkeeping layer adds depth: you manage inventory, buy and sell figures to other collectors, and build a reputation as the city's ultimate figure expert. Finding a rare figure worth a lot to another collector, or hoarding the ones that dominate in battle, creates meaningful decisions about what to keep and what to sell.

The battle system uses the figures you've collected in strategic tabletop-style matches where positioning, figure abilities, and terrain all matter. It's a clever way to make your collection feel meaningful — each figure you open isn't just a trophy, it's a potential battle weapon. At $10.39, it's an accessible entry point for a fresh take on the creature collector genre.

I like it! It's super chill and fun. I know it's early access but it does need some tweaks here and there and it's crying out for more content which I presume will be added in future updates cannot wait!

A friend gifted this to me out of nowhere, and as someone who likes TFT, deck-building, and shop simulators, I love the combined concept of this game. Starting it for the first time made me play it for approx. 7hours (there's still content I haven't unlocked) since I enjoyed it…

I would check back in a few months. But has HUGE potential.

I've had a ton of fun Playing TBS, it's simple but the battle system is actually really fun, the store sim stuff is just extra at this point.

This game is a cool Time waster. while there's not much stuff, it's still great to play if you value fast paced coordination. There is also the battle mechanic which still needs a little work done but overall. Well done

👎 Not Recommended

TBS Table Battle Simulator features two main mechanics: managing a figurine shop and battling with those figurines. However, the shop management side is very underdeveloped. According to the character's tablet, there are barely 10 unlockable products to sell in the shop right…
