I grew up with Bomberman. Watched Konami killed it slowly over the years and almost lost all hope of my favorite franchise as a child. Konami randomly shadow dropping this game during a Direct literally made my day. I love the SNES era and this is the best way I can finally play without emulating Bomberman 3-5 and I can never be any happier. All I ask is a 3D collection of the N64 era and my life is yours
It was about time they put bomberman on steam. These games are retro classics, and I hope red alert games does another collection with bomberman 64.
Game Preservation at its finest, multiple language roms, manuals, box art, concept art, all region carts / box art / manuals. Translations of previous untranslated games. All for 20$ as of writing. A steal and a perfect way to replay and introduce people to these classics. Glad to see Konami caring for their legacy,
As a gamer of 41 years now I played and remember all the SNES games and Bomberman was always one of my favorite series, sadly later games seemed to decrease in quality and these SNES classics stand as a perfect and enjoyable homage to the legacy.
The collection itself is a pretty good selection of games. The presentation is also lovely with all of the box art, manuals, music etc... However when it comes to playing the games itself the implementation is bad. These should be running flawlessly on just about anything but yet they dont.
