Why Star Wars Outlaws Is Trending Right Now

Star Wars Outlaws is trending with 2,775 peak players in 24 hours, though it's seeing a steep -63% week-over-week decline. The 72% positive review score from 5,976 players shows it maintains a loyal base despite the falling player count. Released 465 days ago, the open-world Star Wars adventure is settling into a steady niche audience.

As the first-ever open-world Star Wars game, Outlaws targets story-driven action fans who want immersive world building and exploration over combat intensity. It compares favorably to other narrative-focused adventures like Starfield or Jedi Survivor, but leans harder on exploration and side activities. The target audience is single-player focused gamers seeking 30+ hours of licensed universe content.

Players love the immersive world building, exploration, and story—many found themselves just wandering the galaxy for hours. The main criticism: uneven content design across planets and a hollow feeling after completing side quests, making it best suited for sale purchases rather than full-price buys.

Not sure what all the bad press is about. Follows a tried and true formula, yes, but the world building and story are very good. For the first time in a long time I found myself just exploring for the sake of exploring in a game. I just completed the game and find myself truly sad that it's over and that there isn't more coming.

I recommend it ONLY if it on sale for $25 or less. Its a fun time in the star wars universe but once all the side activities are done, it the story feels kinda hollow. It felt like the first planet was full of stuff to do but all the others felt lazy by comparison. Overall I got by hour per dollar play time out of it considering I got on sale for $20.

I heard a lot of bad things but I like this game. It's got a lot of creative puzzles. Runs very smooth with my controller. I had to lower the mouse sensitivity to get it to run smooth with a gaming mouse.

This game isn't bad, especially if you can get it for 70% off. I wouldn't pay full price though.

Apart from one ND-5 mission (you will know which one im talking about once you get to it), the game was great, the story was basic but for me, the gameplay was fun, riding the speeder, flying your ship, interacting with all of the syndicates, it was honestly quite fun. However, if youre looking for a really good game, this wont be it, but it is a good game. 8.5/20

Common Questions About Star Wars Outlaws

Is Star Wars Outlaws worth buying in 2026?

Yes, but with caveats. The 72% positive review score and 2,775 active players indicate a solid single-player experience, but player consensus is clear: buy it on sale for $25 or less, not full price. It's a good, not great, story-driven adventure with strong exploration but uneven execution across planets.

How many players does Star Wars Outlaws have?

Star Wars Outlaws peaked at 2,775 players in the last 24 hours, with a -63% trend over the past week. Player count is declining, which is typical for single-player games post-launch, but it's stabilizing around a dedicated core audience.

Is Star Wars Outlaws multiplayer or co-op?

Star Wars Outlaws is single-player only—no multiplayer, co-op, or PvP modes. It's a pure single-player story-driven adventure focused on narrative and exploration.

How long does it take to beat Star Wars Outlaws?
