Games missing a lot of the features from Space Engineers 1, but so far I'm enjoying the new building system. The survival mechanics aren't as in depth as SE1 yet either. Would reccomend for those who enjoy Creative/Building. Wouldn't reccomend yet for those who enjoyed the survival aspects of SE1, but whats there so far it's looking to be an improvement over SE1.
just remember the game is still in Alpha, its only going to get better, so don't listen to other people, they didnt play space engineers 1 like we did, this game is already 100x better than 1 ever was, yeah parts of the survival are easy but thats because the entire game isnt even out yet, its not even half
if the best you can come up with after years of development is eyeroll-inducing AAA "Focus, M!" style dialogue and a backpack that removes any need to actually engineer in an engineering game, then you have either pulled some kind of ridiculous prank on your playerbase or you dont care about making the game in the first place
