Never played a game like this before. The production value is extremely high, so much effort must have been put into making this such a stunning experience. It is like a movie but you must navigate to the end and make choices that affect the outcome. What really got me was the Myers-Briggs type test at the end. I think this kind of medium is going to get really big in the future.
Real fun. It's like a visual novel but on steroids ;) I mean, it is pretty much a game of only one choice is the right one else you die, but I still like it. Those women are so vicious!
Absolute cinema! If you like interactive film and/or chinese ancient drama, you'll enjoy this one. I've no negative things to say, though I wished some characters could be saved. XD Overall good actors, a lot of drama and nice costumes. Choices partly matter and can effect later chapters. I finished it in around 6h (not 100%, just one playthrough :)). The story is not finished and will continue in Road to Empress II. I'm looking forward to it ♥
The DRAMA! The ROMANCE! The BETRAYL! Honestly what a fun experience, and love the concept of a playable CDrama! I'm usually not a fan of visual novels, but this was different! Really immersive, lots of twists and unpredictable moments. I've only really felt railroaded, like the story drove me to a specific outcome, once.
