Why Ritual of Raven Is Trending Right Now

Ritual of Raven is a textbook niche title: 90% positive (171 reviews) from a dedicated but modest playerbase. Launched August 2025, it maintains a flat 7-day trend (+0%) despite near-zero concurrent players—but its critical reception suggests authentic quality over hype-driven adoption.

Unlike traditional farming sims where you toil in fields, you enchant magical constructs to do the work instead. This frees you to focus on story, puzzles, and relationship-building with quirky NPCs. Perfect for players seeking cozy vibes plus intellectual challenge—a rare combination that explains the 90% positive reception.

Players rave about the unique construct-farming mechanic, charming characters, and cozy-yet-challenging vibe. Main complaint: steep onboarding with confusing progression (especially seed acquisition) and missing accessibility features.

Really loved this game, such a fun mechanism and enjoyed all the characters and puzzles. I got ~60 hours gameplay out of it (completion & all achievements + quests) BUT I so nearly gave up near the start because there are a few quality of life adjustment sorely needed. The option to remap keys and a colour blind mode with letters/labels would be a great start.

Really interesting game with an awesome mechanic, but beware of the puzzle/programming in it. You better like it because that's what you will be doing most of the time. I found it challenging enough to keep my interest until the end and enjoyed the relationship with Raven most of all.

Honestly as someone who didnt get that far, the game is so complicated. i hate the farming mechanics, and the source of seeds confuses me. I dont know how I can cross through something when I cant even purchase seeds. Anyways the graphics is good just that its just has a lot to do.

It is cute and all, but gamepad controlls are a desaster. The game doesn't even run on stable FPS. Besides that, I do like the Card mechanics, which you can use on your pots to program them that they do stuff. Story is, well, not that interesting and over all it doesn't really give me anything. I see why people like it, but for me it's a pass.
