Players rave about the tight gunplay and pacing that defined modern action games—it's 'a classic and must-play.' The main knock is dated graphics and stiff tank controls, though both are minor compared to the rock-solid core experience.

after a decade or so of being recommended I finally tried re4. Absolutely goated, can't wait to try re4-re mastered after re9

This game literally revolutionized the gaming industry and it holds up extremely well for its time. I’m not a big fan of tank controls, but despite that, it still plays somewhat smoothly. I kinda like RE4 Remake a tiny bit more than this one, but regardless, both games are masterpieces. There isn’t much I need to say, tbh. RE4 is a CLASSIC and a MUST-PLAY for sure.
