Why Resident Evil 0 Is Trending Right Now

Resident Evil 0 isn't currently trending—it hit 0 peak players in the last 24 hours with a flat 0% 7-day trend. However, its 76% positive review score across 6,369 player reviews proves it still resonates. For $19.99, it remains a worthwhile entry point to the series' roots if you can stomach the mechanics.

RE0 stands out through partner-based gameplay, pre-rendered backgrounds, and brutal item management that forces constant backtracking. It targets hardcore series fans and classic survival horror purists willing to tolerate clunky controls for atmosphere. This 2016 remaster added Wesker Mode and improved visuals, but the core experience remains deliberately punishing.

Players love the atmospheric pre-rendered environments and challenging survival horror design; the biggest complaint is the brutal 6-item inventory limit that creates tedious backtracking rather than engaging puzzle-solving.

The person who decided that removing the chest from this game and adding a huge number of story items would be a good idea, I want to address you: I wish you only six slots in your life, two of which would be occupied by a harpoon.

This game is really annoying to play, but the first train section is worth it, DON'T LET THIS BE YOUR FIRST RESIDENT EVIL

Atmospheric, punishing, experimental.

A fine preamble to the main RE series. Seriously? You're telling me Rebecca Chambers went through hell, then saw Spencer Mansion, and really went 'bet'?? That's awesome!! She's so awesome, and I love her dearly. And this game, it was fun.

Challenging and fun game. I don't know how you play effectively without following a walkthrough, way too many nuances to catch them all. Combat is naturally clunky and frustrating at times, but satisfies when you get the defeat. Beautifully pre-rendered scenes look good even in this day and age. Give it a go!

This game had such a good start I was enjoying it more than RE1 at the opening hours, that changed real fast, this game have to be one of the worst resident evils in the franchise I give up on trynna finish it imma just watch a video of the story
