What the Community Is Saying
Players love the brutal old-school difficulty, Unreal 5 visuals, and the pure nostalgia of finally replaying these games on modern hardware. The main consistent criticism: performance optimization issues, even on high-end handhelds, forcing setting compromises to maintain stable framerates.
Waited seven years for this release since it was first announced. I sincerely hope that everyone who's been waiting are alive and well.
Great game, hope it gets optimization updates in the future, since even my laptop struggled with performance, forcing me to lower my settings to medium to get it running well enough.
be honest, did you ever think you'd see these games ever again? well here they are with not only a sequel, but with the entire trilogy in Unreal 5, courtesy of kazuma kujo. surreal, literally at a loss for words
I love how brutal this game is. It's a reminder that old games before were really hard asf, and I'm all into it. Bring it on!
Nostalgia PSP game, now i can play it in my ROG Ally X. However it can be laggy sometimes, especially when looking at the 3D models, dropping from 90 fps to 60 ~ 70 fps Which is not an issue if you cap at 60 FPS (HIGH settings)
Holy sh1t this is rough. The amount of button presses to get something done is ridiculous. Even resuming a save, you have to start the mission over and go through the mission briefing again. And, then eventually it'll ask you to resume. It's wild that this has literally no QoL. There's no tutorial either! It's a hot mess. I'll keep trying to power through, but dayum...
