What the Community Is Saying
Players appreciate the shooter depth. The main criticism involves learning curve or content scope.
Ripping the best rated QoL mods off the workshop and just adding them to the game as vanilla content is a peak move. More game devs should do it.
Quasimorphs are explained as apocalyptic monsters but get treated as just another rival pmc competing for profit and influence only to be overshadowed by man made horrors. Ludonarrative harmony is fun
Quasimorph: a game about cannibalism, great value red bull, interdimentional space slavery, and the chinese communist party
Great game. However, IT HAS A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH FALSE DIFFICULLTIES! I opened a 2 skull difficulty mission and got jumped by 10 quasimorphs. The difficulty of missions feels like a complete lie a good 40% of the time. 1 Skull out of 5 and I am being torn to shreds by 2 lmgs and a rocket launcher.
This game just keeps getting better and better with every update! I already have close to 100hrs played on Steam, and 733hrs on GOG.... Yes, I recommend this game. It's so danged good that I decided to buy it twice!
Don't get me wrong, I like this game. But more a pick-up-and-play game rather than a progressive roguelike. At some point later in the game, you will die, you'll try to recover with the free equipment they give you if you die, and you won't. Just start a new run.
