Why Pratfall Is Trending Right Now
Pratfall broke into trending despite a harsh -51% weekly player decline—driven by its 90% positive review score (698 reviews) and strong word-of-mouth following its April 2026 launch. The 2,142 24-hour peak shows solid engagement from its core niche, typical of successful indie co-op releases early in their lifecycle.
It flips the script on climbing-focused games like Peak, replacing summits with cave descents and adding explosive physics-based hazards. At $6.39 for up to 6+ players, it targets friend groups looking for chaotic co-op moments—not esports-tier competition. Procedurally-generated caves and roguelike replayability extend shelf life beyond a single playthrough.

What the Community Is Saying
Players praise the chaotic co-op physics, creative hazards, and comparison to hits like Peak and Deep Rock Galactic. The main concern: steep player drop-off post-launch reveals it's a niche "friends only" title with limited mainstream longevity.
The true enemy is not the giga-giant worm, but the TROLL WITHIN YOUR TEAMMATES. ソロプレイもできますが、このゲームの面白さの本領が発揮されるのはマルチプレイです。 ボイスチャット(洞窟にいるようなエフェクト付き!)を使いながら、まったり犬を探しに掘り進めましょう。
Cute little game, cross-over of digging in Deep Rock and climbing on Peak, but just down
Much like Peak its a great game to play with friends. A lot more funny moments. Gather the boys and start digging.
if you want to kill your friends with explosives many times this is the game for you. very fun and very replayable unlike some other friendslop games. Its basically the opposite of peak, but its super fun and has more to do and has a better premise imo. This game is very peak.
This game is a lot of fun when played with a friend or two. Highly recommend it. It's alongside games like Peak and and RV There Yet.

Common Questions About Pratfall
Is Pratfall worth buying in 2026?
Yes, if you have a regular friend group. The 90% positive rating proves the core co-op mechanics work. At $6.39, it's a low-risk purchase. Skip it if you play solo—the game is built around multiplayer chaos, not single-player progression.
How many players does Pratfall have?
2,142 peak players in the last 24 hours, but player count dropped -51% over 7 days. Typical for niche indie co-op games that see launch hype fade. The remaining players are a dedicated friend-group audience rather than a broad playerbase.
Is Pratfall multiplayer or co-op?
Co-op first—designed for 1-6+ players working together. Solo play exists but reviews confirm the game's fun comes from teamwork and shared chaos. No PvP or competitive modes; everything is cooperative cave diving.
How long does it take to beat Pratfall?
Exact length unspecified, but typical roguelikes clock 10–20 hours for main story completion. Procedural cave generation and variable player counts (1–6+) boost replayability—most value comes from repeated runs with different friend groups rather than a single linear campaign.
