Easily sank 200 hours. Good storyline, attractive artstyle, although it's collect these mats, give to this guy, etc etc, but its cozy.
It's very interactive with a good storyline. Only wish you didn't have to pay for actual outfits and could unlock them from quests or something.

I love this game! Not only is Palia fun, but the ability to just wander and the need to actually grind to gain exp is something I haven't had to do in soooo long! It's refreshing, entertaining, the VA's are amazing and suite the characters. Overall I'd rate the game a 9.8/10. Of course there's some graphics quality issues but it's free. I can't complain too much, and what I can complain about is easily fixed and honestly if small issues are my only qualm, I'm sitting pretty happy.
This game had a therapeutic effect on me. At first I didn't like, perceived it as something slow and tedious, but the more I allowed myself to slow down, the more I began to appreciate it. Just wander around and do what you feel like doing, not chasing goals or dopamine hits, and Palia will bloom for you like a flower.
They turned it into a microtransaction mall instead of adding anything of further substance. Fun for 5 hours until you come to the realisation it's all about buying clothing and housing items from the shop using real money.
