Why OK👍 Boomer Is Trending Right Now

OK👍 Boomer launched 3 days ago with a solid 89% positive score across 18 reviews, but shows 0 concurrent players — typical for a $4.95 indie early access title with niche appeal. The 4-player co-op focus means it's built for squads, not matchmaking randoms, which explains why traditional CCU metrics don't tell the full story.

This is a survival horror roguelike built specifically for playing with friends, not randoms. The analog-tech-vs-internet concept is genuinely unique, and at under $5, it's a low-risk bet for co-op groups. Target audience: players with established groups who want a weird indie shooter they can laugh through together, not solo players or those looking for competitive multiplayer.

Players love the 4-player squad vibe and unique internet-horror concept — 'absolute banger' and 10/10 reviews from group-play sessions. Main issue: technical bugs (especially resolution reset) and shallow per-session gameplay loop that bores solo players quickly.

It's an okay game. There needs to be some fixes and an actual goal. I feel like it is way too easy to play the game in its current state. My biggest issue with the current game state is how resolution settings keep getting reset to maximized when I have it windowed at 1920x1080 on every map change, revive, etc. It's really annoying. Pretty fun for the first 30 minutes but gets boring after that

game is really fun even though it has some flaws since it's in early access I think new content will be added over time.

We had a really fun time with my friends. Recommended for playing with close friends.

Highly recommended! It's just a few bucks but the replayability is insane, especially with a full squad.

"Ngl, this game is an absolute banger. Had so much fun blasting through it. We lowkey need more devs making stuff like this asap. Clean 10/10."

👎 Not Recommended 2h played

I guess im confused....is there anything to work towards in this game? and is it suppose to be this buggy? i know the game has "glitches" in it as enemies. but is the game suppose to be laggy as well? also, aside from not really having any point, it feels like a very empty game. still feels like a demo at best

Common Questions About OK👍 Boomer

Is OK👍 Boomer worth buying in 2026?

Yes, but only if you have a squad to play with. The 89% review score reflects solid co-op chemistry, and at $4.95, it's low-risk. However, it's early access with known bugs (resolution resets), so expect polish issues. Don't buy this for solo play.

How many players does OK👍 Boomer have?

0 concurrent players in the last 24 hours. This is a 3-day-old early access title with no traditional multiplayer matchmaking, so CCU metrics are misleading — players are in private 4-player groups, not public lobbies. No growth trend data yet.

Is OK👍 Boomer multiplayer or co-op?

4-player cooperative only — no PvP, no solo campaign. You need exactly a squad of friends to play. No crossplay mentioned in reviews or description.

How long does it take to beat OK👍 Boomer?

No official playtime data yet. Reviewers mention 30+ minutes per session, with one noting it gets stale after that initial window. Given roguelike structure and emphasis on 'replayability with a full squad,' expect short runs meant for repeated co-op sessions rather than a single 10-hour campaign.
