Players consistently praise the chill vibe, killer soundtrack, and adorable sushi-protagonist aesthetic. The universal complaint: the game ends right when you're getting into it, with limited progression options that feel unfinished.

A decent little game, but very very short. I 100%'d the game in under two hours without really rushing. You run out of things to spend money on very quickly and only the first three tools have upgrades. I must say that part feels a little unfinished, but it's a good hour or so of chill fun. The music is decent too!

Moldwasher is a very good and adictive game where you play as a cute nigiri who's have to clean all the kitchen. Buy and upgrade your tools, buy and find some collectibles like stickers, VHS and CDs. The music is excellent and very chill and the pixels designs are nice. The only negative point is it's a little loo short. I highly recommend it! 🍣💗

It's the perfect game to play when your parents are getting divorced and you just want to chill, listen to some killer tracks, and stop hearing them fight in the next room.

Loved it and tried to bingeplay it out: every pc moment I went back to this one first cause I just couldn't stop and I didn't want to stop. Being a fan of the powerwash series one of my first thoughts was oooh they got competition, with this cute sushi dude and his tools. I'm already rooting for dlc's tbh, given a house is bigger then just the kitchen. From wine cellar to attic. I want it all <3

Such a cute lil game, I don't even know how the time passed! adorable and engaging.

👎 Not Recommended 2h played

It's a good game, but it's INCREDIBLY short. I was alt tabbed for part of my playthrough and completed it in 2.1 hours. $8 for 2 hours of gameplay? I mean, it's not the worst, but it definitely feels pretty bad by the end of it. I regret purchasing it, as I expected there to be more content.

Common Questions About Moldwasher

Is Moldwasher worth buying in 2026?

Absolutely, if you want a cozy 90-min palate cleanser. The 92% positive score reflects genuine polish, not just hype. It's perfect for winding down before bed or between competitive sessions, but don't expect a 10+ hour grind—this is concentrated, quality content at a fair price.

How many players does Moldwasher have?

Peak 24h concurrent players sit at 356, with a flat +0% 7-day trend. Fresh from launch (5 days in), it's too early to call trajectory, but numbers suggest a stable niche audience rather than viral growth.

Is Moldwasher multiplayer or co-op?

Single-player only. Moldwasher is a cozy solo experience with no multiplayer, co-op, or PvP modes—it's built entirely around personal chill time.

How long does it take to beat Moldwasher?

Main story takes roughly 1–1.5 hours; speedrunners report 100% completion in under 2 hours. There's no endless or procedural content, so replayability comes from achievement hunting and collectible hunting, not fresh challenges.
