METAL EDEN — Is It Worth Playing in 2026?

128 players at 24-hour peak
PC (Steam) Shooter $9.99 Very Positive 861 reviews

Why METAL EDEN Is Trending Right Now

METAL EDEN isn't breaking player records (128 24h peak, flat trend), but its stellar review score (86% positive across 861 reviews) signals legitimate word-of-mouth strength. At just $9.99, it's become a stealth pickup for FPS fans hunting quality indie alternatives to bigger-budget shooters.

Players consistently call it DOOM collides with Cyberpunk 2077, and that blend lands hard. The formula: parkour-infused combat, beautiful sci-fi aesthetics, and gameplay so optimized it runs ultra-smooth on mid-range hardware. For a sub-$10 shooter, the polish is genuinely surprising.

Gamers rave about the blistering fast-paced action fused with gorgeous cyberpunk visuals and parkour mechanics—plus smooth performance on mid-range rigs. The main knock: occasionally clunky controls and a cryptic story that loses some players, but most agree the short, intense campaign justifies the $10 price.

This one is for FPS fans, fast paced, lots of shooting and fun gameplay loop. No filler side quest bs, straight balls to wall action with banger music. Short and sweet. Impressed. 8.5/10

I'm very impressed with this game. If I had to describe it in one sentence- it's DOOM in the Cyberpunk 2077 world. And I mean that in the best possible way. Fast paced action with a variety of guns and pickups, surrounded by beautiful graphics. Did I mention parkour combat? I ran it on my mid-range system at Ultra in 2K and didn't have a single stutter. Two thumbs up!

Like Doom meets Ghostrunner but just a bit worse than those games in pretty much all aspects. Would recommend if that's your thing for $20-$30.

👍 Recommended 6h played

Fun game, controls can be clunky sometimes. The story can get a little confusing sometimes, I will admit I had to go look up some lore to understand the ending. Solid 7 game.

Absolute hidden gem. Great combat, super cheap, really unique aesthetic. Lots of fun fast paced FPS combat. Kinda like Doom meets cyberpunk meets titanfall. GG

👎 Not Recommended 23h played

A lot of achievements are bugged. The developers don't seem to care about that and don't communicate. So if you're like me and have OCD when it comes to completion, I wouldn't recommend this game.
