Something needs to be done about owning multiple settlements. Once you own a second the game becomes completely unmanageable. Trying to take care of two different settlements is impossible. Let alone take over the whole map, which is given to you as an option but not possible to do. Not even close. That game is fun until then though.
Has a lot of potential, AI combat and AI city building is terrible however and needs to be focused on soon. AI factions will create thousands of shields and never develop their cities outside of the first 10 minutes. They never have any type of militia so buying up the mercenaries and invading is pretty much a game winner because they dont have any type of militia to fight back with. Lots of potential but devs need to focus on core gameplay first.
Will be there a Multiplayer, i can jsut imagine how i build and fight for dominance with my friends, liek creating alliances and fighting togheder, woudl be way more fun
The most shocking thing about Manor Lords is that no one has made it before. Engrossing city-building gameplay with optional medieval warfare mechanics, and absolutely gorgeous.
I have about 18 hours of gameplay as of this writing. Overall, this game is really fun; it’s a fantastic mix of city building, supply chains, resource management, and strategy/combat. I would definitely recommend getting this game, especially since it receives good and relatively frequent updates, considering it’s made by a small team. It’s also an excellent choice if you want to dive into games that focus on city building and real-time strategy.
I want to love this game, I really do. It has a lot of elements that almost feel like a must-have in terms of medieval city building. But the game has been in "early access" for nearly two years and rather than developing integral elements of gameplay (town development points, research points etc.), they chose instead to completely revamp the artwork and menus. I'm just confused as to where the priorities lay...
