What the Community Is Saying
Players love the zen-like renovation loop and how it lets them unwind for hours without pressure or stress. The main complaint: limited house variety in the base game means dedicated players hit a content wall and have little reason to return without buying DLC.
This game relaxes me a lot. I love building and decorating, and this games is the best one!
im obsessed i love decorating and fixing up the houses . this game is so fun i will legit play for multiple hours in a day i cannot stop
This will forever be one of my favorite games. Something about it just checks all the boxes. Definitely get the HGTV dlc for the before and after photos, that's so satisfying to watch.
Has been my favorite game for YEARS!! Very fun if you like interior design :)
I do actually enjoy this game, but I really wish there were more houses to flip. I've bought a few of the DLCs but they only give a few houses. I'm pretty sure I'm on my last house so then what? Apart from that it's cool.
Greedy devs, making a remaster of first game when they only recently stopped making DLC for the game. They have the same game for sale multiple times at this point, HF1, HF2, HFVR, and soon HFR. Game itself is better than HF2 but thats a low bar already.

Common Questions About House Flipper
How much content is there? How long will I actually play?
Most players get 20-50+ hours depending on pace. However, base game has a hard ceiling—once you've flipped all available houses, there's little left to do unless you buy DLC. Expect a few months of casual play, not a forever game.
What's the actual gameplay loop?
Buy rundown houses, repair/renovate by clicking, decorate with furniture, sell for profit. No timers, no combat, no story—just rhythm-based clicking. It's meditative by design, which is why it's so addictive for renovation fans.
Is it multiplayer? Does it have difficulty settings?
Single-player only with no difficulty options. The game auto-adjusts based on your progress to keep it accessible and stress-free. It's explicitly designed for unwinding, not for challenge or competition.
Is it worth the price?
Yes—at $6.24 with 94% positive ratings from 50,000+ players, it's exceptional value. Even 10-15 hours of gameplay justifies the cost. Just understand the base game has a finite ceiling; it's not an endless sandbox.
