Amazing game. The continuation of our journey through Norse mythology, the combat is so smooth and the map design is very well thought out. Nothing feels like filler or that it was added just to fill the gap. In this game, you can appreciate Krato's grow, not only as a father but also as a person and see what Atreus wants to become. The ending of the game and the DLC is both epic and heartwarming. I hope i can throw hands with Ra in the future Santa Monica.
The game is fantastic but I will say there are a few parts of the game that are an absolute drag and it probably takes 3-5 hours of a 60+ hour completionest adventure. I do also highly recommend getting the mod that gets the boy to shut up
God of War Ragnarök is bigger and more intense in the best way. There’s more world to explore and the fights feel more challenging and rewarding. The story hits hard, and the combat just feels so good the whole way through.
It is indeed fantasy when someone tells you to "be better" and you fundamentally change as a character. Other than that it's a solid game.

I beat this at launch on PS5 and it was an amazing experience. The PC version suffers from crashes that are likely due to a memory leak. Looking at the Steam forums it looks like many people have been experiencing these crashes for over a year. As far as I can tell there is no reliable fix. I think the developers should address this, or at the very least offer clear communication about how players can fix it themselves.
