Why FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE Is Trending Right Now

FF7 Remake Intergrade hit 1,524 concurrent players in the last 24 hours, but interest is cooling fast with a -64% player decline over 7 days. This likely reflects the fanbase shifting to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The game still carries an impressive 87% positive review score across 21,000+ reviews, proving its narrative and characters hold up nearly four years post-launch.

This is a story-driven action-RPG remake built for players who prioritize cinematic storytelling and character depth over open-world exploration. If you loved the original FF7's narrative or want a modern, polished single-player campaign with real-time combat, this scratches that itch perfectly. It's not a sprawling RPG—it's a tightly paced linear adventure masquerading as one.

Players consistently praise the story, character arcs, and modern combat system as exceptional. The main criticism: shallow side quests and padded mid-game content undermine pacing and make it feel more linear campaign than full RPG.

It's an amazing cinematic story-driven action game with very high highs, but also extremely low lows. The story and characters are the highlight of the game, which undermines itself by including shallow, unrewarding side content that disrupts pacing and immersion. It's a linear story game pretending to be an RPG.

Better than I expected in every way. Why did I take so long to play this. It easily became one of my favorite games.

As a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series, this isn’t the best entry in the franchise for me, but it’s still a damn good game. I really enjoyed the way it reimagines the events following Crisis Core, and now that I’ve jumped into Rebirth, I’m keen to see how my feelings evolve after this next chapter.

This game is fine... there is nothing awesome about this game (except for the graphics) or bad. on my eyes its a game to just zone out on and its hard for me to make it not. the combat is fun for a little then gets a little stale. Look I didnt finish the game so I might be judging it wrong so dont make me stop you if you liked rebirth if you played that before this one for some reason.
