Please devs for the love of God(s) (or none) give this game controller support and get it Steam Deck verified, this is the PERFECT Deck game! I love it on PC but I would play it SO MUCH MORE on Deck. Let's be clear, I totally recommend this game on any format though, you owe it to yourself to try it!
A fun proof of concept showing that single player extraction shooters can still work. Arc Raiders and Marathon releasing without PvE modes just means I won't engage with them, while this cheap little duck game not only gets my money, but gets my time. I'm really enjoying pushing further in every run and slowly expanding my base. The gunplay feels tight and the overhead view works well. Just some solid duck on duck violence.
People seem to be upset about some mod related shenanigans but I prefer to play the game vanilla. Mod is nice to have but not required for this game and not sure why developers should be responsible for them anyway. I have nothing but praise to say about the game, it is so addictive and for this price the value for money is insane, i can see myself playing 100+ hours easy
Murderous ducks. Cute as ♥♥♥♥. Though, I play a chicken. The Tarkov inspirations are fun nods, but it really has its own feel that makes it unique to play. Would be able to make great use of a Rabbids crossover (Just sayin devs)
So on the surface this looks like a gag game, but it's actually really good on its own merits. It's like a top down shooter that plays like an FPS, and if you like different kinds of ammo and guns etc. you're going to have fun. If it sounds remotely interesting or you're curious I'd just try it. It's hard to describe this game lol
There's no reason this shouldn't be playable with a freaking controller. Especially for the Steam Deck. What the hell devs?
