Currently fighting depression Thought that would be a nice game to change my mind Now I'm fighting against even weirder things At least, it's a mood match The battle is hard 10/10 would recommend
Phenomenal atmosphere, art direction, sound design, and story. Gameplay is great, progression is great, difficulty is solid at the start but dips a little towards the end. Excellent all around, easily my favourite deckbuilding game of all time.
There is so much to adore about this game: - Genre-blending gameplay that feels very intentional with well-balanced difficulty. - Unique setting and somber story that meld with an unconventional pixel art style to create a surreal, dark atmosphere. - A demo that lets you dip your toes in to test the waters and dig some of the ambient tunes. (Seriously, give this one a try!) 10/10 for my tastes! I'm only a couple of hours in, but I'm already in love.
Such a good take on the natural fear of life and death. Ro's story is tragic in how all to common and experience it can be. Losing someone sucks, but losing a child? That's it's own kind of tragedy. So to all those who are lost, and all those who have lost, stay strong. ... Oh also really good deck-builder game. Poison for the win!!!
A great deck building game with lots of intresting ideas! Feels like most deck building games coming out nowadays are rougelites so it is nice seeing a quality indie non-rougelite deck building game!
Great art, but the deckbuilding aspect is definitely limited, forcing you to rely on your starting cards for more than half the game because your deck essentially resets in every new area. Your character perks also don't transfer between areas.
