This game desperately needs to become a grand STRATEGY game and a ROLEPLAY game again. Right now it utterly fails at either of those as you passively become extremely powerful, the AI cannot seem to not ♥♥♥♥ itself over, events are repetetive, AI makes extremely non-sensical decisions that are immersion breaking, etc etc etc.
