Cheap Car Repair — Is It Worth Playing in 2026?

509 players at 24-hour peak
PC (Steam) Shooter $19.69 Very Positive 452 reviews

Why Cheap Car Repair Is Trending Right Now

Cheap Car Repair launched 31 days ago and maintains a stable 509-player 24h peak, though it shows zero 7-day growth. Its 87% Very Positive rating (452 reviews) proves the game delivers strong value in a niche market. The Polish 90s setting and dark comedy angle found its core audience quickly.

It fills the gap between My Summer Car's mechanical depth and approachable casual fun—without the frustration sim. Players aged 18-35 who enjoy dark humor, management depth, and don't mind janky aesthetics are eating this up. The game's 'dirtbag score' system that rewards breaking rules sets it apart from typical sims.

Players love the dark humor, chaotic 'dirtbag score' system, and authentic Polish garage vibe—it's My Summer Car without the punishment mechanics. The main complaint is that item placement and trash management feel clunky, and the community wants better organization tools.

Fun game but definitely needs the ability to place items instead of having to chuck things everywhere

please add the option to syphon gasoline from clients, it's the balkan vibe

My Summer Car if it wasnt a torture sim and was actually fun

Nothing funnier than saying "I did too good of a job" and ripping out lightbulbs to boost my dirtbag score.

Love the game, I would love to see a garbage pickup at the end of the driveway weekly, or a number to call for trash to be picked up in future updates possibly. Or a designated trash bin somewhere on the property instead of leaving it lay around and pile up everywhere.

The game seems made with care and I wanted to give it a fair chance, but I could not find any way to rebind the controls. The “Controls” menu only shows the layout instead of letting me change keys. For a PC game, missing key rebinding is a serious usability and accessibility issue. I’ll gladly update this review if key rebinding is added.
