The game was already pretty good before the last update. It's, by far, the best combat in all the action roguelikes I've played. It's deep but isn't overwhelming. Every new character you try had me think "OK, THIS one is awesome, it's my new main". So, about that update. I'm only about half an hour in, but I can see it's much more polished than the "previous" story. Hopefully it's easier to follow, too.
It's a pretty adaptive game and is fun, though there are definitely some moves where spamming is just the best strategy.
The game is incredible, i started on xbox and transfered my save to pc to continue playing on steam and its actual peak
The gameplay loop is absolutely fantastic, the visuals are wonderful and has some decent replay ability, would recommend this game.
I love this game whole heartedly. But the update unironically made it so unplayable. I get network crashes every-so-often and I can barely play with my friends The Screenclutter makes it so bad where assets dont load or I get stuck in areas where If I reset I become softlocked. This game went from really good to a now just a certified disaster. I'll pull my review out but until then its a hard negative for me
