Despite my initial concerns (I was worried it will be so repetitive and time-consuming as Vallhalla), I bough the game at 50% sale and I ended up loving it! It has its own issues, but I would give it a solid 8/10.
9 hrs into the game, no annoying animus sequences so far. Fight & sneak mechanics nice, awesome gfx. Solid thumbs up!
despite all the hate, I found myself immersed in the story and gameplay <33 Naoe is a baddie ngl
100 hours in and having an absolute blast in nightmare difficulty. The stealth gameplay is a smooth blend of MGSV, Splinter Cell and, of course, shinobi-themed games like Tenchu and Sekiro.
Played it just because I am a fan of the series but man do I have to say this was the worst assassin's creed I ever played... u had one task to make a beautiful Ac game in feudal japan, u failed ubisoft, very disappointed, it is not fun, it gets boring first 10/15 hours... hope u guys make a good job with Black flag remake... I will give you one more chance and afterwards I'm gonna stop buying your games if you fail again.
