What the Community Is Saying
Players rave about the expansive Egyptian setting, storytelling quality, and freedom in how you approach quests. Main criticism is the time investment required and slightly dated mechanics compared to more modern action-RPGs.
So far, I’ve bought a lot of Ubisoft games, but I haven’t really finished any of them. However, this one is very easy to enjoy. Even though there are many quests to do, you can treat most of them as optional. You can play it like a game tourist or a hardcore gamer — it’s totally up to you. It may sound meaningless, but it actually gives you more freedom and random experiences. I like it.
The AC RPG series kicked off well with AC Origins. You couldn't imagine the AC series being brought into the RPG realm, and the Egyptian setting makes this game even more engaging. Ubisoft never jokes about the world they create.
Always a treat to visit ancient Egypt and the beloved characters! I still love the gameplay mechanics introduced here. This game was a major shift in terms of gameplay changes and storytelling, I love this game... you would too.
Great visuals and gameplay. Love the storyline, probably one of the best in AC. Bayek is fun to play, and enjoy the DLCs. One of my favorites of the AC lineup.
Amazing portrayal of ancient Egypt. Truly a mesmerizing sight!
Love this game- don't get me wrong. I'm genuinely having fun. But having to be online to play a 60$ game PMO to levels I never thought possible. Do I own the game, or does my ISP own it? Got all comfy and ready to play and lo and behold Ubisoft Connect is down. FWUCK YOU!
