What the Community Is Saying
Players love the return to stealth gameplay and Baghdad's atmospheric design with less bloat than recent entries. Main complaint: janky animation/combat and it's still not a top-5 AC game for series vets.
not the best AC game, not even in the top 5, probably. But it's still a solid game. Worth getting when on sale.
My first AC game. And I am pleasantly surpriced that the game rewarded stealth game play. I enjoyed the story, and I loved the city of Bahgdad and it's surrounding. This was pretty, fun, challenging and engaging. I finished the story at just after 60 hours of playtime according to my last save. Will definetly look into any other title of AC that has stealth instead of combat.
Great parkour map, brings out the ethic of the orignal AC's but movement , fights are jagedy, need a lot of work. 7/10...
Very reminiscent of what AC used to be. The more recent AC games (Odyssey/Valhalla) are enjoyable but suffer from a tremendous amount of bloat in terms of side "quests" and collectables. This is much more digestible for fans of the classic AC series.
Feels like a classic AC game with the open world elements of Odyssey and Valhalla.
I wanted to like this game but I got bored really fast. I loved some of the other Assassins's games but not this one. It wa too linear and there wasn't enouph variety in the setting or enemies.
